The church holds regular worship services on Sundays (Bible study at 9:30 AM, morning worship at 10:30 AM, evening at 5:00 PM) and Wednesday Bible study at 7:00 PM
The East Walker Church of Christ is a congregation of the Churches of Christ located in Sumiton, Alabama (eastern Walker County), at 2675 Highway 78. Established in July 1971 through the merger of three local congregations, it emphasizes unity, glorifying God, and loving one another as a diverse family of believers.
East Walker maintains an active online presence with live-streamed services on YouTube and community outreach in the area.

Our story is one of unity. East Walker Church of Christ launched in July 1971 when three area congregations in the south-eastern part of Walker County united together. Unity really gets to the heart of who we are. Throughout our history, we’ve been a place of grace, love, and growth for many who sought out East Walker as a refuge. We are a loving family made up of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences coming together for a common purpose—to glorify God, love one another, bless the world, and in due time make it to our home in heaven.
Community Involvement and Events
East Walker Church of Christ hosts a variety of engaging events throughout the year, including kickoffs, conventions, and leadership training, along with several major youth trips, service projects, and additional outings for students in grades 6-12.
